Elect Bush Website up & running
Time to get out your barf-bags folks and review the Elect Bush website. :puke:

My observations:

1) If priorities are in order of menu placement look at where Bush puts the environment.

2) How is "compassion" an election issue?
2a) Notice the push-poll at the bottom of the "compassion" menu. How does "Promoting independence & an ownership society" encourage compassion? (46.4%)

3) Note how there are 7 priorities on the menu placement. Isn't Homeland Security & National security redundant?

I guess there is allot more I could go into, but I have to prepare dinner.

3. We need to target our message to voters like Todd Goberville...

... of Parkland, Florida, who says:

"I support President Bush because, as working parents of two young girls, we must not only be great role models for our kids, but we must also save for their futures. President Bush's Child Credits have allowed us to put an extra $800.00 to their college funds and he is a President who our girls can look up to and say, "someday, I want to be just like him!". Thanks for being a great leader and role model during the most difficult time in our nations history President Bush!"

http://www.georgewbush.com/news/support.aspx

I wonder if Todd Goberville realizes how much money Bush, Cheney and their kind have put into the "college funds" of their own future offspring, thanks to their self-prescribed tax cuts (neocons are fond of self-medication these days), or how much his daughters will end up suffering because of Bush's misguided economic policies. And, thank goodness Bush wasn't president during "the most difficult time in our nations history," as he surely would have turned the post-Civil War South into one big Gitmo by now.

Then, there's Deborah Camargo of Corona, California, who is proud of the way Bush has set aside "partisan politics," and who doesn't much care for the idea of questioning one's government. She does include a nice GlamourShotsTM photo of herself, though...

"My admiration for President Bush stems from his setting aside partisian politics to just get the job done of serving all Americans! It's not easy to do what's right instead of what's popular. We don't have to second guess his words, actions, or intentions. I may not agree with everything he says or does, but he has earned my respect by demonstrating high ethics and character. I am proud he is my President, and enthusiastically support his re-election in 2004!"

-- Deborah Camargo of Corona, California

Sigh... I just don't even know where to begin with voters like these. :-(

6. Do what's right instead of what's popular???
When has Bush ever done anything that wasn't designed to pander for votes or assure his "reelection" in 2004? The common theme in these comments is ethics and character, which means one thing: Since Bush hasn't had sex with an intern, it doesn't matter that he's wrecked everything else.

8. Dammit Todd Goobeman
that money wasn't supposed to go into college funds - you were supposed to SPEND it, you jackass. The liberals said you would save it, and that does nothing to move the economy and you are making them right, er, correct.

I agree completely that Chimpy McFlightsuit revels in the words of his believers. He's gotta feel like a better showman than PT Barnum ever tried to be.

13. Hey! I signed up!
Two reasons:

1. When they count on their team leaders to do something, wouldn't it be terrible if there were some that couldn't be counted on... to do anything? Or worse, do just the opposite?

2. If the BBV comes together for them, and ASScroft's jackbooted thugs come after me, I'll have a "get out of jail free" card!:P
