I just watched Alan Colmes on...

the 700 club (Pat Robertson's show) and he presented
the liberal point of view extremely well. He
did so without hatred or anger. Evidently Pat Robertson
invited him on the show. Pat asked him some tough
guestions and he responded in a very pointed and articulate
way. They discused past presidents, past economic policies,
and current issues. It seems to me that he talked in a way
that would make Dems look very good. Pat even advertised
his new book. My question is this. Why does DU seem to
dislike Alam Colmes so much? He seems good to the liberal
cause to me. Your thoughts?

He is not a strong debater, it almost seems as though he takes the liberal side grudgingly IMO

4. The problem with colmes

is that he tends to let Hannity get away with so much. Also, he rarely criticizes Bush. I wouldn't be surprised if he endorses Bush in 2004.

Why would any liberal agree to a format where you get half as much time. He is weak and passive.
