1. To whom
would such a request be made, and by whom?

4. NOPE. AND please note that the head of state appointed by bush isn't IRAQI
..., he's LIBYAN.

Chalabi is a libyan.

We gotta ask why the newly chosen iraqi god ain't an iraqi.

5. Arafat
is an Egyptian. Should we ask why the Palestinens leader is an Egyptian?

6. Did WE (or the bush regime) appoint him to run a country where "WE"
are claiming to be liberating its people, as in iraq?

I'm not opposed to people of differing nationalities, but I had an argument today with someone who claimed that bush is freeing iraq and helping them set up their own democracy... but without involving the iraqis.

The US has no business in the gods n real estate idiocy happening in israel and palestine. Let them kill each other off.

7. The Palestines picked their leader not the US
Let the Iraqis chose their own leader. Oh we can't do that because they may choose someone we don't like. Ain't Democracy a bitch.

11. his family, the Husseini clan, has deep ties to Palestinian history
A part of why he was able to amass and keep the power that he has is through the deep historical ties of his extended family to Palestinian politics. The pro-Israeli people bring this lie up with no context whatsoever--he went to school in Egypt after the nakba, later Kuwait as well, but that's it.

10. where did you hear that?
he was born into a Shiite business family from the south, left Iraq long before the Baathists took over. He's probably whored his services out to the Libyans at some point (that criminal spread his legs for anybody if there was a profit in it), but I'm not aware of his family being Libyan themselves..

8. Not if they wanted to live
Voicing opposition wasn't such a good idea under Saddam. He had his own Son In Law killed. It would have been the first and last request that person ever made. Remember the Iraqi reelection results from a year ago? Saddam got 100% of the vote. Every single vote. No one in their right mind would have run against him.

9. His son in law attempted to assassinate him.
Just so ya know.

Hussein isn't QUITE the tyrant the bush regime has made him out to be.

And no one ran against hussein in that election either.

But again, no one asked the US to take him out either.

12. No one ran against him?
Thats the most ridiculous statement Ive seen in a long time!

Both Bush and Clinton have had some pretty nasty things to say about Saddam, but Bush just went crazy.

The last thing we need is to become the party of Saddam apologists.

13. Sorry but I won't support the lies of the bush regime. Clinton had NOTHING
to say about hussein until the 1998 Rumsfeld Security Commission report.

And anything he and the Senator have had to say since, until last month, were based on that report and all its lies.

14. There was no group
that could make such a request.

Maybe an exile group.

No one in Iraq could have asked and lived for a day.

15. Would it have mattered?
If you ask them today, by and large they want us to leave. Does that matter?

Bush was going to invade on his own timetable no matter what the people in Iraq thought.

18. The Busheviks listen to the Iraqi People as much as they listen to
the Imperial Subjects of Amerika.

Ok, ok, maybe they listen to us a little more, but only because they aren't finished tranforming the Old American Republic into Bushevik-Occupied Imperial Amerika.

When they are finished, well, at that point we WILL be the Iraquis under Saddam.

Who will be the Bushevik version of Uday and Qusay? Will it be George P. Caligula (and unnamed homosexual lover?)? Will it be Emperor Arnold? Or will it be the two boys, as yet unborn, of George P. Caligula.
