Pastor Fred Phelps' Legion To Protest 'Laramie Project'

A Kansas-based church plans to stage anti-homosexual demonstrations outside a play and three churches this weekend in Poulsbo.

Poulsbo's Jewel Box Theater is staging "The Laramie Project," which centers on the October 1998 murder of University of Wyoming student and homosexual Matthew Shepard.

There will be over 200 counter-protestors out in force to shout these people down. Poulsbo (Pauls-beau), Wa. is a little community across the Puget Sound from Seattle. We will be out in force at the Watefront Park and on street corners to let Pastor Phelps know that he is wrong in his condemnation of Gays.

They truly would be MUCH MUCH happier living under the Taliban than in the US, IMO.

Something like two psychiatrists, and a family member?? If he is not criminally insane, then no one is.

But beware, they are terrible singers and they ALL sing hymns and watch out for those signs, do not get too close.

We never could get him to protest our high school productions years ago (I went to school in Topeka,) Though we did mercilessly mock him in a fantastic guerilla theatre skit one evening. Maybe it's because some of his grandchildren went there....Though he did protest other schools' productions in the city.
