HAHAHA - FAUX News (Speculating) That Clark Once Smoked MARIJUANNA!
TOO funny! (can't swear due to the new rules) ;)

The Gibson guy was interviewing a "reporter" who had a one on one with Clark.

Anyhoo, this Faux "reporter" (apparently) asked Clark if he had EVER broken any laws. Clark says "NO"

Then, according to the "reporter", he asks Clark if he had ever smoked MJ

Clark: "no"

Reporter (says) he got in his car and drove off when Clark aids call him on his cell and ask him to come back.

"reporter" comes back to Clark and Clark tells "reporter" ....

"I HAVE had a couple of speeding tickets in my past and maybe a parking violation. I haven't broken any laws that i can recall."

"Reporter" to Gibson: "He COULDN'T have been worried about a speeding ticket!"

Gibson to "reporter": "This CERTAINLY suggests he was nervous about your question of past marijuanna use!"

:eyes:

know something? i WANT my Pres to have smoked. means he is at peace with his inner-self if you ask me

what a joke!

up on posting...and don't come here much anymore.

But to respond to your question...I wouldn't mind dropping a nice hit of real fine acid (not blotter, it's usually too weak, I mean good old fashion hits.) and tripping with Dennis Kucinich...

Who smoke what doesn't mean s**t (could I say this?) to me me. I enjoy fine organic smoke whenever I choose to here in Humboldt.

They've tried to stop it here for the past 32 years, they NEVER will, and it's funny now that two right wing clowns, musclehead Arnold (who still enjoys a joint or two) and junkie Limbaugh, who will NEVER ever, ever be clean....

This idiot fascist Ashcroft, better start respecting State laws and the peoples will...or we are gonna bitch-slap him with a big (Woody Allen) tit, up and down the streets, along with my minority brothers, my gay brothers, my senior citizen brothers, my pot smoking brothers, my freedom loving brothers, my union brothers, my veteran brothers, and my environmentalist brothers and the baddest of them all, the my opressed and exploited women and sisters everywhere.

We have the power and the numbers.

He will run this state as Rove demands and right along republican lines and ideology...

His agenda? He really doesn't have any, except what will be dictated by the national (fascist, nazi) republican party.

He is after all, a republican.

(A quick toast to your sobriety, and I'm lighting up one for you.)

58. ALMOST every real soldier (not a chickenhawk) has smoked pot.
Wonder if pot is more dangerous than those drugs the military was and is giving to the pilots flying those sorties over Iraq? The folks at FOX are mostly spineless hypocrites.

As far as Clark is concerned, no wonder he's so brilliant...you know what pot does to enhance your thinking. Not like cocaine which deadens the brain and fries portions of it...just look at Bush.

Has Dean ever said he smoked?

I mean, he comes from freakin' Vermont. :smoke:

Has Kerry?

He plays classical guitar. Personally, I think you have to be high to dig classical guitar.

Has Lieberman?

Uh.....no.

Gephardt?

Maybe...once.

Edwards?

In law school? Maybe?

I've never been to law school.

Sharpton?

Um.....not in a long time. He has lost a lot of weight. (ain't gonna do that with the munchies).

Kucinich?

No. Probably NEEDS to. Just to calm down a little.

:P

Bruan?

Yeah, probably. I think she'd be cool to smoke with. :)

38. Was it a Faux reporter?
I know for certain that Dominic Carter of NY1 asked Clark the same question he has asked all the candidates: Have you ever broken any laws? Actually, as I recall, Carter led into the question by mentioning marijuana specifically.

Clark's response was a firm "no."

Apparently, Clark thought about it and realized he had some sort of traffic violations. Wary about being nailed for "lying," he called Carter back. Then he called Carter back again to clarify that he has never broken any laws.

I saw Carter going on about this on a NY1 political analysis show and thought that Carter was hot-dogging it. He was blowing up a minor sequence of events thinking that it was a major story that would spotlight his "ace" reporting and analysis skills. Clark was being as honest as he could and was meticulously setting the record straight.

I thought that Carter wound up looking like the guy who exercised poor judgment, in this case.

52. Smoking pot is no big deal
I don't see why people don't just admit it outright and why anyone would make such a big deal about it. Yes, it is illegal, but in some states it is the equivalent of a speeding ticket. I am still not clear if it really is illegal to take a hit off someone else's joint since I believe that the law is possession. Anyway, people might have varying opinions on whether or not it is good to be a regular user of it or other drugs, including alcohol. Even though I think that smoking pot regularly does little harm, I understand why some people might have a problem with someone like the potential president doing that. To have a problem with a candidate because he may have tried it sometime in the past though is ludicrous. There is no lasting harm from trying it once and many people have tried it. Getting high is no more immoral than getting drunk. No one makes a big deal about if a candidate has ever been drunk before.
