Pulling CBS license?
A right wingnut congressman on Buchanan and Press made threats that if the Reagan movie goes on they will pull CBS's license. I'm scared more every day. :scared:

appeared on CNBC's Capitol Report spewing the same
unbelievable shit. He actually stated (I'm paraphrasing)
--there are many Americans who don't know about Reagan
and this is not how we want them to learn about this
great man...

make it known that if such action is taken, a Democratic Administration will pull the license from Rush Limbaugh and every other right wing talkshow host. That should stop any of this talk of licence pulling.

he is practically foaming at the mouth about this horrendous attack on Saint Ronnie. I can't believe how absurd it is, and Buchanan was just agreeing with him all the way. They are just INSANE when it comes to Reagan...you would think he was the Messiah to hear them talk. It just drives me nuts. :argh: :argh: :argh:

18. Yada Yada...No License Had Been "Pulled"
I heard this crap earlier and know better.

First, the only way a station's license could be "pulled" is if there's are flagrant and repeated violations of FCC rules (such as operating on the wrong channel)...all technical, none regarding content...even swear words.

The worst the FCC does is fine...and a paltry one at that...$10,000 for a violation that can easily be made up at the next commercial break.

This monkey has no clue what he's talking about. Too bad it isn't that easy to have a license revoked or pulled...that would be very bad news to Bush boys Tom Hicks, Lowrey Mayes and his friends at Cheap Channel.
