If she's anything like her husband, good riddance. The fact that a Chiang can live twice as long as Paul Wellstone (she was 105) is proof that there is no God.

Hopefully James Soong is next. I hate that fascist bastard as much as I hate the faux-leftists on the mainland.

You remember Chiang Kai-Shek was not a communist... He was in charge of the other guys... who fled to Taiwan.... which today makes us such great computer parts and has a high standard of living, especailly compared to Mainland China...

Just because he opposed the communists doesn't mean he's a good guy.

Saying so makes about as much as sense as saying Stalin was a good guy for fighting with the Allies during WW2.

Chiang Kai-shek led a fascist apartheid dictatorship in which a minority of rich mainlanders exploited the Taiwanese Hans and aboriginals who were there long before the Chinese civil war.

Every ROC leader before Lee Teng-hui was a major league asshole.

And might I add, it's the left in Taiwan that wants independence, while the right wants reunification.
