See if anyone can find out who is actually moving into the Governor's mansion. Is it Arnold Schwarzenegger or is it Pete Wilson? Actually, if anyone can do some detective work, this inquiring mind wants to know where Wilson is staying and how much time he spends in the Governor's office.

1. The actual governor mansion has been shut down since the Reagan yrs...
Or so I think I heard... (I am pretty recent to Sacramento). Davis lived in a suburban 4 bedroom - nothing fancy in the least. There is talk of building a new mansion -- maybe Ahnuld will bankroll its construction. ;)

2. Keep your eyes open if you have time and post.
I think we can get some detective work going here in the south for Arnold and Maria's comings and goings. They shouldn't think they are getting away with anything.

3. Friends of Governor George Deukmajian
donated the funds to purchase a Governor's mansion in Wilhagen Park (?) off of Fair Oaks Blvd. I believe Pete Wilson also resided there as well as Davis. Nice neighborhood. One of the last acts of Gov. Reagan was to build a mansion right on the American River off of California Ave. in Carmichael. My brother worked as a hod carrier on the project and it was quite an impressive structure (I got a tour because I used to bring beer to him after work at the job site). Jerry Brown was too much of a tight-ass to live there and they sold it to Matt Franich. Now they are contemplating building a new Governor's Mansion on the West Sacramento side of the Sacto River.
