Which Party is the most for pro-government involvement?

In regards to the controversy surrounding the comatose woman in Florida, it is noteworthy that it is the Repubs that see government as the solution to any and all moral problems that might arise. Rather than say that this is a personal and family matter that should be worked out by the doctors and family, they rush to get the assistance of Jeb Bush and big government.

This is at odds with evertything they profess to believe and rail against. Big government is the problem, they alway say. Until they need it to further their agenda. They do the same thing with the abortion issue. They think it is not a personal issue between the woman and her doctor, they think it is a political issue to be advanced at the highest levels of government and to be used in political campaigns for political advantage. So, it is debatable at best, about which Party is the most "pro-government"..
