Fox news analyst: "the economy is off the table..." yea, right

They just were discussing the debate tonight on Fox news, and some GOP shill "analyst" lady called Chavez said "...the war on terror will be the central issue in 2004...the economy since it is improving will be off the table"

lol, they wish.

It was funny because they had another analyst on, and he actually disagreed (a shocker on Fox) and said the economy might still be a problem for Bush in 2004, and then went on to make it worse for Chavez by saying the war in Iraq is starting to look like a MINUS for Bush in an election match up with a Dem because of the ongoing problems there.

Heh, this guy got the last word and then Chavez just had to sit there with a fake smile on her face.

By the way - it's on Fox News, not regular Fox. Had NY won last night, it would have been on opposite Game 7 of the World Series on "regular" Fox.

I'm only watching Fox now for laughs, but when the debate is over I have no desire to see Fox news dittoheads "analysis".

CNBC was nearly as bad as Fox. I think I made it about five minutes after the debate in NYC before switching.

I just get so tired of the "nobody really said anything" crap. The same media that jumped up and down because Bush was still breathing by the end of the debates now whines that the Democratic candidates don't say anything of substance, even when they do.

with a negative 4 yr growth for jobs. That puts it smack dab in the middle of the table, in my opinion. As for the crash of tech stocks, that was almost 4 years ago. They cannot continue using that excuse. Especially after such huge taxcuts to stimulate the economy, but all they really stimulated was the huge deficits.

Jobs? Why should jobs be an issue? Who cares if people who don't pay taxes aren't working? :crazy: <sarcasm>
