An Open Letter To Joe Lieberman

Dear Senator Lieberman:

It is time for you to leave the race now and salvage any dignity you have left. Your sanctimonious attitude and the invectives you are constantly hurling at your Democratic opponents for the presidency is nauseating. Last night was the nadir or the zenith depending how you look at it.

You insulted the two men who wore the uniform, Senator Kerry and General Wesley Clark and questioned their courage. This coming from a man who got six? seven? Viet Nam era deferments to continue your schooling. I can't believe even you are so jaded you couldn't see the irony. And by the way where was your combativeness when you debated Dick Cheney. You make me dyspeptic.

Last night one of the moderators asked you to respond to the charge that you are perceived as Bush Lite. As an aside you are becoming so pathetic I think * should take umbrage at that comparison. Your "clever" retort was I thought "I would stop being called Bush Lite when General Clark got into the race. " Wes Clark has staked out progessive positions on the great issues of the day regardless of where he came from. In any case the mod basically said Dems think you suck and you basically said I don't suck Wes Clark does.

Democrats are tired of your puke politics...

It's great that you've done the legwork for the nasty part of the * campaign. Rove will now have PLENTY of "Democratic" criticisms against whomever the party nominates (and I guarantee it won't be you, Holy Joe). You have done a great job in helping * legitimately win a term.
