1. Sad to say, it won't work.

Freepers have already been inoculated against this. The new meme is that yes, "Bring 'em on" was a challenge, because it's far better to have the terrorists focusing on our armed troops, who can fight back, than on innocent American civilians.

I don't know that the number of American soldier deaths can get too high for them. And that's terrifying.

2. the target isn't freepers

they aren't ever going to be convinced of anything but Bush as Savior.

The target is the well-intended part of the public who want to support a wartime president, who may be a bit uncomfortable with the presidents actions, but feel that out of loyalty (country "under siege" as the rwing propoganda goes) they must stay supportive. Messages that erode that equation - play to that bit of uncomfortableness within those citizens - and beg them to ask... is this really a sane/good policy....
