Crossfire: Tucker LIES big time! (9/11 papers)

in discussing the bushies refusal to release 9/11 documents, Tucker placed the blame squarely on CLINTON intelligence failures that poor little georgy inherited.

now, if documents existed that proved CLINTON was responsible for the 9/11 failures, does anyone believe that they wouldn't have been released on 9/12??

3. Begala should shoot that down
I'm watching this too, and watched one a while back where Carville missed the same opportunity. They should immediately tell about how Sandy Berger told Condi Rice that this was what she would be spending most of her time on (oh stop laughing) from the beginning. They should say that Cheney's "commission" never even met once before 9-11. They should talk about the cashiering of O'Neill, the calling off of the naval task force and the airstrike in Afghanistan that missed Bin Laden by some 30 minutes.

This should never be allowed to sneak through. Even if it's just a point in a statement largely about something else, they should stop right there and vehemently refute this with all their might.

It's been chorused over and over, and will be accepted as truth if it's not fought at every turn.

Begala's generally too busy making smart-alecky responses and proving he's a manly deer hunter and man's man to keep his eye on the ball.

5. Tucker's Really Reaching...
First there's that 9/11 thing...Begala swatted him back there.

Next was yet another Clinton-hate story about Clinton claiming he knew of Blair's heart problems...blah blah blah, Clinton lies, blah, blah, blah, divert, Clinton, blah blah blah

Begala...bless his heart...jumped on him...and told him to seek therapy!!! Amen!

Then Tucker pulls out the totally warped scenario that the same forces that invaded Iraq, minus the Canadians, conducted the Normandy invasion. My late father, who landed there, would be rolling over...as are millions of other vets.

Must be Rush's Oxy pipeline cut-off is starting to trickle down...

6. My points exactly
If Bush/Cheney could have easily pinned 9/11 on Clinton that would have in AN INSTANT - but they couldn't so they didn't.

But the Clinton Military did KICK ASS in Afghanistan.
