Cafferty and Soledad pouting on CNN..ha ha ha!

Cafferty was reading emails about the Chimp's pronouncement saying that all these bombings mean things are getting better.

One writer said that Chimpy sounded like Baghdad Bob. Another one talked about how Orwellian the Chimp sounded. My favorite one was a writer who said that by the Chimp's logic, if Al Queda dropped a nuke on us, we could declare total victory.

After the segment, I swear to God, Soledad and Cafferty were literally pouting! Cafferty kept saying "I can see what the President means, even if it was a poor choice of words" or something like that...

Sorry that your annointed leader is such a fucking idiot, Jack! That doesn't mean you have to keep whoring for him. You CAN change your mind, you know.

Media whores.

1. Change his mind?

Sure, if he were capable of independent thought. Sadly, that's missing in the modern media whore.

I bet that was funny to see though. I'm laughing just reading about it. :7

2. they did it again!!

They were previewing the segment at 8am CST for 820am CST. They were saying that the Chimp's pronouncement was "an intersting idea" and that they had gotten "LOTS of emails"...

Ha ha ha ha ha! And they were still pouting! Oh, that's too much.

3. Somebody should write a letter....
...and ask if people on bikes had it much safer the day that Cafferty ran over one.

5. well, they had some freepers write in on the last segment..

But it's a sign of how stupid that statement was that putting any kind of spin on it is really impossible.

"re-declare war on Iraq"

"We're not fighting on our terms"

"Let the military do its job"

huh?

But there was another couple of good ones. Like the lady who wrote in talking about the Bush/Orwell 2004 ticket... :)

6. Those two drive me crazy! Soledad pouts most of the time (Shirley
Temple) like a little girl that someone stole her lollypop and Cafferty is like the mean neighbor who complains about your kids and mows his lawn at 6:00 in the morning every Saturday. When they put them together I had to tune out. Blech!

7. Hahahah!!
That's a good description of them KoKo, except I don't think Jack ever mows his own lawn. But he hires the mow and blow team to do it at 6:00 am. Sat!

Is it me, or are the female newsreaders getting younger and younger? She looks like she is 19. And of course all of the men have gray (or dyed) hair and are middle aged.

8. The only middle-aged female news anchor at CNN, Judy Woodruff
Well, maybe that's why they don't have any more like her. She's terrible. I can't stand to watch her "Inside Politics" show, she brings absolutely nothing to it, her comments are mostly insipid. I *want* to watch that show, or something like it, but I cringe too much when watching it.

And cuter and (impossible as it seems) more vacuous by the day. If you want the very picture of Cluelessness, take a look at Robin Meade on the Headline News tentacle of CNN.

(And if you really want some quality entertainment, spread out pictures of all the CNN/Fochs anchorettes and play a fast round of "Newscaster Or Porno Queen.")

:argh:

10. I noticed it too! all day long girls starting Puberty read the news
Hey Im 52 and the last thing I want to see all day when I watch any news are kids who spout:
"Um..like..Al Queda is totally weird ya know? and EWWWW those fires are, like, bad...I mean Totally.."
They might as well chew gum and pop pink bubbles.

15. The only good thing about Robin is her singing voice.
they did a spot on a new digital guitar, and the closed the section with her and the guitarist doing some Journey song. She's good looking and seems to be able to pronounce most words. That's about it. No hint of a a real journalist on the CNN set.

14. Speaking of Soledad....
Does her voice annoy anyone else? When she talks it just drives me crazy. It sounds like she has her fingers stuck in her nose. I wasn't a big fan of Paula Zahn, but at least she had a pleasant voice. With Soledad, anytime she comes on I change the channel.

Cafferty is an obnoxious jerk, but thankfully he's not on that much. I would have thought that CNN could have come up with a better morning team than they have now. Oh well........
