Vote in Conserv. Paper's Poll where Bush is LOSING BIG!
Please take a few secs to add to Bush's grief at www.illinoisleader.com and vote NO (Is Illinois better off with Bush?)
NO is winning 64% to all other options on this Conservative site!

1. Do you understand what an "unscientific poll" is?
DU'ers can choose to vote in this poll if they want to, but it won't have any bearing on the outcome of the 2004 election. Hell, even scientific polls are pretty meaningless at this point, with the election more than a year away.

3. The object isn't to make a scientific point !
It's to wake up Conservative Republicans to the fact that it's possible even for Conservative Republicans like themselves to disapprove of Bush.

When sheeple see a poll of THEIR OWN KIND, it just might open their minds to the possiblity that supporting whistleass was a mistake, one that they may not want to repeat.

32. And the "conservative republicans" believe there is no way
in hell that democrats could be voting in this poll? Really? All these internet polls are totally meaningless. They only serve to bring people to the website so they can get more money from advertisors. Nothing more, nothing less. No one of any intelligence looks at an internet poll, leftie or rightie, and concludes ANYTHING. All you are doing is helping the web site make money.

17. If this were a scientific poll, there would be no way to influence it ...
by having DUers 'vote.' Who said it was 'scientific'?

2. Damn right it is Conservative! Wow!
Check out the article on the Cali Fires!

http://www.illinoisleader.com/columnists/columnistsview.asp?c=9399

MORRISON: Forest fires: Because they feared the greens
snip--
Homes, lives, property, loss of wildlife and pets -- all because of those who call themselves "environmentalists" and "preservationists."

A federal bill that could eliminate the undergrowth and dead, diseased trees that is causing these fires to burn at excessive temperatures and out of control has been under discussion in Washington, D.C. for months. The bill has passed the U.S. House, but the greens in the Senate won’t let the bill budge.

According to Chuck Cushman of Landrights Association, "Right now, HR 1904, the Healthy Forests Restoration Act is being delayed by the environmental groups who would rather have your house burn down than have foresters clean up the forests or burn a log or a bug-killed tree."

13. Imagine that...
Less than a hundred years ago they were begging people to come to California and even diverting water from hundreds of miles away to turn a natural desert into a place where green lawns and golf courses flourished. Maybe the land isn't meant to support a huge population. Ever think about that?

7. LR, some positive spin on your link and others like it
It simply feels good to vote "NO" against bush and his cronies no matter what the forum. Sheeple who view the results, if published, may even have a second, negative thought about the disaster in Washington.

18. It said that I'd already voted ...
but only after I had. It was still strange: I am used to being told that if I try to 'vote' again in an online poll, but not when I simply look at the webpage.

15. These folks are crazy...
...though not as much as the freeper nation.

Last year they bickered over the conservative credentials of the GOP Gubernatorial candidate. The guy was pro-life and as a county prosecutor years before, had tried desperately to put a man to death that, while no boy scout, did not commit the murder he'd been convicted of (he's a free man today).

I guess he wasn't pro-life/death enough, because many instead were in favor of a former GOP state legislator-turned libertarian candidate who had allegedly been caught once pleasuring himself in the same room with his infant/toddler child or stepchild.

22. polls
My dad(stanch Nebraska republican) was contacted by a republican polling service asking him what he thought of what Bush was doing and he told them he was "not very damn happy" It's pretty hard to be more conservative than my grandpa and hes super pissed at Bush, mostly about Iraq. If these kinds of people are mad at Bush, I think there are cracks in the facade.
