Bill Hicks fans!
What do you think he would be doing comedy about today?
Lots of ammo, I think. Wouldn't it be wicked? I miss him.
Share some memories if you can.
I got to see him in '93, in Chicago-Funny Firm (what a treat, thanks Bob, for the tickets!); he was wonderful and the crowd loved him. He did some of his "dark poetry" that I haven't been able to dig up; yes, I've looked in bad places.
Personally, I think he would be at his peak with the political situation today. That makes me sad. Any alternatives?

He mentions Bush (without specifically referring to Poppy, of course) and the joy he felt when the Republicans were voted out of the White House.
