This has been on my mind for awhile

Throughout the years, liberals have been the target of violent attacks from conservatives. In essense, Conservatives have stolen the dignity from the word "liberal".

However, Liberals are the ones that pushed for equality during the sixties and seventies. Liberals are the ones that fought for Social Security and Medicare. Liberals are the ones who introduced the concepts of non-violence to Americans. Liberals are the ones that championed labor and environmental rights.

Liberals have brought many positive things to this nation. However, many people refuse to recognize it because the word "Liberal" has become an unfair target and scapegoat for those who choose to undermine its values.

This is my concern. How do we restore respect to the word liberal for the masses?

and yes yuo need to also restore the history of shame of the modern conservative party

start a liberal club who does manny good deeds, start your own news paper, flyers, what the repugs do only in reverse.

politics won't cure. Calling the Republicans liars on national tv every chance a 'liberal' gets AND BACKING IT UP WITH FACTS!!! will fix what ails the Democratic party. Funny how the Republicans have been able to lull the Democratic talking heads into believing Al Gore lost the election in 2000. Wake TFUp! Al Gore and the liberal idea won the 2000 election! we need a push by the Dem leadership to bring up all the liberal traits of our founding fathers.

Explain the above attributes of the Democrats. Keep repeating...repeating....repeating...over and over and over. Eventually it will sink in. Isn't that the way repukes work? If they say something over and over and over.....the sheeple follow suit.
