so I just blew it on the Dr. Joy Browne show..lol
I always listen to her in the mornings and today I got done early so I thought just for kicks I'd call and ask,"How can we find a middle ground between liberals and conservatives?" Amazingly enough I got through with no problems and the guy (Scott I think is his name) said it was the best question he'd ever heard and asked me to hold till after the break. I don't know how you guys who call into C-Span and stuff do it,cause the second he said that my heart started pounding and I broke into a cold sweat and I had to write down my one little question so I wouldn't forget it.

When she came on I managed to ask the question and then she asked for an example and would you believe..I COULD NOT THINK OF A SINGLE THING THAT CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS DISAGREE ON!!! I'm totally ashamed of myself..lol. She carried it though, and started talking about how there is a biological drive in humans to return to the norm. She said that two tall people will often have a child that is shorter then they are and my mental state was so battered at that moment that I lost all political focus and became totally intrigued at the thought that tall people have short children(I'm just over six feet tall,my sons father is about six feet seven inches, and my son has always been one of the shortest kids in his class. This has always baffled me a little so I gave myself permission to be fascinated by the digression). At any rate, then I started babbling about never having known that about the biological return to the norm thing and I think(hope) she muted me.

She was very nice and it was all good I suppose, but I am in awe of those of you that manage to get on the air and put together coherent thoughts and sentences!
