Some DU homework needed on Cheney's stent

Was the Johnson and Johnson medicated stent that is in the news for failing to prevent clotting and subsequent "events" (aka deaths) the one that Cheney had inserted?

Have been googling, but cannot find out if this is the one they used> I am pretty sure I recall that he, indeed got a "medicated stent" - but have to leave my computer for the day and thought maybe someone could track this down.

If it IS the one - he will have to have it replaced and this will make huge headlines, unless they do it in his bunker.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered - am in a bit of a rush.

1. This is what I found from May 01....

But in 25% of cases the artery clogs up again within months of a stent placement. It's what recently drove U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney back into the hospital for further treatment around his Guidant-made stent.

It looks like Cheney's stent came from J&J's competitor.
