I let them have it about their coverage this morning on a shelter that opened up to care for the pets of fire victims.. It was a great story about how this coupple had taken in all kinds of animals, and then the little bubblehead 7th grade grad, HAD to interject this:

(paraphrasing)..

Isn't it nice that these people at least won't have to wonder what happened to their pets, when they fled the fires.. ?? Like the people just ran off and left their pets to fend for themselves.. She totally missed the point of the story.. People BROUGHT their pets here.. She made it sound like they were just wandering around in the fire..:grr:
