16. All the big breaktroughs...
...like changing my own clothes and using a real toilet are kind of over, and it's pretty slow going from here. I just keep doing my exercises. Pain gets a little better each day. I am kind of scared I don't have enough oxycodone, but at the same time I can't wait to get off the stuff 'cause I'd love a drink.

I kind of feel pulled in diferent directions. Work wants me back as soon as possible, but doctors and family want me to do as little as possible for about 5 more weeks. Why can't I just go to work in a wheelchair? People do it everyday.

Oh well.

Again, have a blast at the gathering, and hug everyone for me, and hug Will Pitt twice.

We don't have exclusivity with this joint like we did in Philly. There is one phone line into the place, and they need it for business. Alas.

28. I'm really sorry I can't be there.
I have a friend in the hasopital after bi-lateral knee replacements on Thursday. His wife (also my friend, of course)is disabled. I'm going up to see him now.

Between them, and the family's on-going grief after the accidental death of my niece's fiance...(I can't believe it has only been 5 weeks...feels like an eternity)...I'll be on the go all day.


I hope all of you have a GREAT time. Have a Heineken or two for me, OK? (Just don't give me a hangover...no time!)

I'll be thinking aboutcha!
