1. A true story about ROSEMARYS BABY
Edited on Sat Aug-16-03 09:21 PM by JitterbugPerfume
I was very pregnant with my son when I first read this book. I had a girls name picked out

If my child had been a girl , I would have named her Stephanie Susan

but I couldn't think of a boys name.

In the book, Rosemary named the lil Debbil chile

Andrew John

Guess what I named my lil debbil????

Andrew Jon

he is now 32, and no sign of cloven hooves or horns yet

5. Great Horror Movie!
They just don't make them like that anymore! Theres actually a plot w/charchters & no horny teens who we know are gonna get hacked! Ruth Gordon in that & the guy who played her husband were just incredible!Wasn't crazy with John Casvettes.Robert Evans said in his book the Kid stays in the Picture he wanted either Reford or Warren Beatty for the part.I think either would have been better than Cassevettes!

The film had very little violence & I don't think more than 2 swear words & some brief nudity. The subject matter, tension, & suspense just made you twist in your seat.

Say what you will about Polanski, but he is a GREAT film maker! On another message board I read a rumor that Anne Rice wants him to do one of her Vampire Chronicles next & he's VERY interested.Of course, New Orleans will have to be built on a soundstage in Europe, but I think Polanski could bring some integrity back to the horror genre if he does "The Vampire Lestat" or one of her books. The suspense of Rosemary's Baby with the settle humor of Fearless Vampire Killers.
