Is a Progressive gonna "lose it"?

I say this purely as a political question -- and to our friends at the Secret Service, I have no intention of being or abetting this person.

But what are the chances some well-meaning liberal or progressive goes off the deep end? Hears Rush say "how do the CFCs get out of my house and into the ozone" once too often, goes and gets his rifle and scope and starts taking out conservatives from 80 yards?

I can't imagine only conservatives go nuts...?

murdered or tried to murder a Republican/right wing leader in America? I can't recall. There was Squeaky Fromme, but I think she could be described as more of a drugged out, brainwashed cultist, not a liberal, though some right wingers might disagree because they think all liberals are drugged out, brainwashed cultists.

I think it takes a special kind of fanatic to be able to take another person's life over an ideology, and let's face it, the right wing has been nurturing this kind of fanatacism for a long time, now, no matter that those with a extremist bent seem to be attracted to the Republican party in the first place.
