I love the way this all works...we talk about some pretty deep stuff, and we are all very diverse, but besides the occasional flare up, everyone gets alone amazingly well. I have been taught alot since coming here.

I had self banned myself from some other boards. It was so disturbing to me to see just how happily ignorant some people were in our country. They would spout out republican propaganda proverbs and gloat about how wonderful bush was and so on. Sometimes it seemed I was the only one who didn't want to just accept what was fed to us by the mainstream media and the only one who wanted to question what our country's leadership was doing. Now I know better. DU makes my life brighter. All of you do. You have restored my faith in the people.
