Happy "Missing Kitty" story: 2,800 miles/seven years
<snip>

A lost cat has been reunited with her owner in the United States after being found 2,800 miles (4,500 km) from home.

Cheyenne, 10, went missing in Florida seven years ago, shortly after she was adopted from an animal shelter.

She was found on 1 April in San Francisco, and traced back to Florida thanks to a microchip the shelter had embedded under her skin.

It was not clear how Cheyenne had made the cross-country journey, but she was said to be in good shape.

1. What a sweet kitty!
I have to keep telling myself; "Four cats in a teeny tiny cottage are more than I need already."

3. I know what you mean, Ben
Mrs Salad and I have 3 in a tiny two bedroom cottage.
The next door neighbors garage is three times larger than our cottage.
But each week I go to the local pet store to get some kitty chow and litter, I want to take home all the ones there for adoption.

But the fuzz these 3 critters produce is unbelievable!

I keep telling my wife that we need to start making cat fuzz sweaters to cash in on all this fuzz these kitties produce.
I reckon there's enough to make at least 5 a week!

Incredible.

Cats have "fuzz factories' inside of them'.
That's what the 'purring' noise is in cats.
It's their 'fuzz factory' turning over.

4. My cat's chipped, is yours?
It's not expensive, and many places that take in strays check automatically.
