What would you never, ever do

Even if you were offered millions to do it?

For me, it would have to be anything with bugs, insects, crawlies, etc. My worst fear includes a lot of those critters, and I would never go near them if I could avoid it. Sheesh--the carpenter ants are back already, and I'm quaking in terror!

ther are many ways to . . .

On edit: when ya get drafted it can become very difficult to avoid the collateral damage they order you to inflict and you don't get anything close to $1M! However, I don't think the US military uses chainsaws for hand-to-hand combat.

(1) you lived in a district where your vote was highly unlikely to change the outcome; and

(2) you could donate the money to DU

I'd probably do what it took to get the money in those circumstances. DU could probably do considerable good with the money.

21. Let me be more explicit

Some voting districts are so D or R that it is a virtual certainty that your vote will not change the outcome (even without knowing the ultimate outcome of the election).

If this were the case, I personally think that taking the money and donating it would be the path of greatest good.

As far as McGovern, I don't think he ran in '860. I think the Democratic candidate was Stevens, who was pro-slavery. Would Stevens have gotten your vote?

How could I be genuine in my dislike for the right if I voted for someone whose interests go against mine simply for a quick buck? I could donate it to all sorts of charities, but the money would have been ill-gotten.

My point about Douglass is that the Democratic party has not been the party of the left in every presidential election. That is why I have trouble making "never, ever" statements (aka categorical imperative statements) when it comes to politics.

There are photographs circulating of several US soldiers (and a contractor) torturing Iraqi prisoners by forcing them to masturbate and perform fellatio.

One of the US soldiers is a 21 yo woman named Ms. England.

I consider that the US soldiers committed rape and that Ms. England was one of the rapists.

However, I hasten to add that it is not clear at this whether her fetal matter has an Iraqi prisoner daddy or not.

That would include any and all of the capital cases, like murder, rape, torture, embezzlement, etc. I would never commit perjury. I am a Christian, and lying under oath would be stupid, not only because you're lying to God, but also to the country/courts/govt. I would never kill any animals or people...not for any amount of money, heck, not even for self defense.

I would also never vote Republican, no matter how much money I was offered.
