1. In This Case I Have To Agree The Administration
That's the chance you take when you put the uniform on. You know that
there is always the chance that you will become a POW, so you try as
much as possible to avoid being captured.

As Super Chicken always said to Fred "You knew the job was dangerous
when you took it".

When you enlist in the military you are knowingly and willingly agreeing to make a sacrifice, it might be small, or you might have
to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Either way, no where in the enlistment papers or the oath you take, does it say that you'll be paid for being a POW, once again it's the
chance you take. If you can't deal with the reality, then become a
stock broker, not a soldier.

2. Less is More
"The administration said the frozen funds of the now-toppled Iraqi regime must be used for the reconstruction of Iraq."

That wouldn't be Haliburton would it?

3. I sent my conservative friends
an email telling them about the Pentagon's plan to cut haz. duty pay and money to dependents. I was shocked and quite pleased when one emailed me back, enraged. She'd checked out the source of the email (veteransforcommonsense.org) and was now passing it along to her friends!
