Is 'Twister' the new 'Wizard of Oz'?
It seems to have replaced the W.o.O. in the spring sweeps TV lineup. It's on NBC tonight...

1. It is tornado season
At least where I live. Both movies kind of fit in with that theme. It sees like tornadoes are the big thing, now. It used to be "shark week" on TLC/Discovery channel. Now, it's "Storm Week".

3. Also, look for a remake of the "Wizard of Oz" coming soon
as a futile effort to take our minds off it all when the coming Greater Depression hits.
