Now I feel like going online when I am home. I have T1 at work, so dial up at home was not cutting it for me.

I use Qwest 256k, for $30/mo. Thanks to switching Web site providers, I can now afford to go up to the yummy 1.5M/876k plan. :9

You'd need to run many tests over a many day period to get a proper average. But it'll be more consistent with DSL than with cable...

4. I am on the east cost

I need to get Tool Points to check. But I would think I am going pretty fast. I have T1 at work and this is not much slower, if at all.

but I noticed that for new signups they're offering up to 1.5 MB (I know mine falls on the up to 1.5 mb category, just want it a bit closer to 1.5MB :)). I got to give them a call.
