I put my Dog to sleep this morning.
The ungrateful Mutt. I mean, I know my story telling and Joke skills
are not the best but you would think that out of respect for me that he
could, at least, stay awake through one of my stories...

I'm sure you did the best you could do. As pet owners we sometimes have to make difficult decisions, and it's obvious to me that you love your dog very much. I hope you find comfort with your memories of happier times with your beloved furry friend.
