*Stalker* Taverner here - what does YOUR nickname mean?
I'll start - mine's after the Jerry Taverner character from Phillip K Dick's "Flow My Tears The Policeman Said"

Good read for all interested!

4. It's my actual nickname.
Blues diva, E.C. Scott, introduced me as "Blue Jay" when I played the first of a few gigs with her. She confessed afterwards that she forgot my name, and only remembered that it started with a 'J', so she improvised. A lot of my degenerate musician friends were there, so it kinda stuck.

31. Great choice, Taverner
I love PKD.

The Magistrate was in the hospital waiting an angioplasty after his heart attack. I told him I would post on DU and let his friends know what had happened. (I was a lurker who had never registered.) I was trying to think of an ID when he suggested She Who Must Be Obeyed as a name that would go well with Magistrate. Who can deny a man on his sickbed?;) I only wish it was shorter as it gets to be a drag signing in.

49. Planet of the Apes Reference
It's from the Sacred Scrolls:

Beware the beast man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, for he is the harbinger of death.

It's also the name of my project on aciplanet.com.
