It's musical guilty pleasures time again!
Top this one:

I am currently listening to the Xanadu Soundtrack. I think "Magic" is a beautiful song and the ELO stuff is great.

Your turn!

6. Huh? David Bowie? A guilty pleasure?
Maybe some of his more recent work, but most people/critics/etc. that I know consider him a great artist. Even if someone doesn't like his work I can't imagine them categorizing him as a guilty pleasure.

8. I think he's great, and even like his newer stuff,
but I figured all the negative reviews I've heard directed at him might fit him in this category.

11. No way...
Yeah, he's sullied his legacy some, but nowhere near as much as many if not all other classic rock artists. At least he's remained adventurous and aged somewhat gracefully.

Bowie is awesome.

2. Symphonic funk
I love funky songs that are over-arranged and have strings in the background. Examples, "We Are Family" "Car Wash."

3. The Circle of Life
by Elton John, from the Lion King
sappy as all get-out but it makes my heart soar like an eagle.

5. There is nothing "guilty" about liking "Xanadu"
I love the soundtrack. "Suspended in Time" is just as nice.

For me: "Petula Clark's Greatest Hits". "This is My Song" is my favorite Pet Clark song. :-)

16. "Everytime I Think of You" is a GREAT song
I think it's due for a revival. And "Just Between You And Me" is one of the first singles I ever bought.
