Of course, anyone with sense knew that Tony wasn't really jumped by black guys the night that Tony B was pinched for the truck hijacking. But this show really pushed the point again and again:

1) When Tony S. sees Tony B.'s limp, Tony B. says he was jumped by a couple of black guys (a lie)
2) When one of the mafiosi at the job site attacks another one, Vito says that they'll tell the cops a couple of black guys did it (a lie)
3) Meadow tells her boyfriend that Jackie Junior was killed by a couple of "African Americans" (a lie)

In fact, the "a couple of black guys did it" seems to be the default lie for the whole Sopranos crew.

Also, not for nothing, but Little Carmine = Bush. There is no question about it.

I thought he was about to run for the hills, having gotten to know Meadow's "family" a bit better.

thereby protecting himself from anything Vito may have in mind for him . . . just a thought . . .

Carmela is finally beginning to see that she can't fight Tony and hope to win. I expect Tony to have her whacked if she gets too far out of line -- having a forensic accountant go through his business would be just about enough to push Tony over the limit. I mean, really, does Carmela really think she is going to be free of Tony? No way.
