Now that they've lost two games, San Jose really, truly realizes that they could lose this series. It seemed like a guaranteed win just a couple of games ago. I expect the Sharks to come out biting tonight, as hard as they can, trying to take advantage of the typical Avalanche lull that comes from 2 days off of playing hockey.

Rumor has it we'll have Kariya back in the lineup. As much as I love to watch him play, I don't know if he'll make a significant contribution tonight. His style of play requires a little space to handle the puck, and the Sharks just don't give anybody that. But it is fun watching that little blur with the 9 on it's back zip from one end of the ice to another. I'm surprised he doesn't stick his tongue out and say "Beep beep" before he disappears in a cloud of dust.

If the Avs can win tonight, it's anybody's series.

The Avs have had their shot more than once...it's now time for the Sharks to dominate!
