Ted and Babs Olsen - A Love Story?
Personally, the right-wing story I think would make a great movie would be the love affair of Ted and Babs Olsen who met as part of the Arkansas Project to get Clinton.

They fell in love.

They impeached a president.

They rose to power.

She died tragically on 9/11's Flight 77.

It would make an interesting story because the beginning would be a juxtiposition of romance and conspiracy while the end would be tragedy. I could feel complete empathy and sympathy for this utterly reptillian duo. At the same time, seeing the number of laws broken would be revolting. The final Karmic ending would leave audiences stunned and weeping.

2. I don't think there was Romance there...
Hitler and Eva only got married in the bunker. They honeymooned in a ditch out back covered in gasoline. Nothing too uplifting there.

I really believe that Ted and Babs fell in love and thought they were doing the right thing.

The tragedy that they were devoured by the incompetence of the man they put in power is stunning to me. The fact that Love and such evil aren't mutually exclusive fascinates me.

5. Barbara Olsen is alive and well and living in Mexico . . .
just a tinhat theory, with absolutely no evidence to back it up . . . but I wonder if Ted makes regular sojourns to some exotic place out of the public eye? . . .

8. it is interesting to note that she was the only one to make an outbound..
call from Flight 77. Was she the only one who had a phone? Perhaps the other passengers didn't feel a need to call their loved ones and say their goodbyes? Or perhaps that call never happened. I'm sure it can all be explained by the folks who offer such insight like "quit listening to Art Bell".

...3 months after his wife is dead in a flaming airplane, Ted's photographed nightclubbing with a young woman in D.C.

Some love story.

On Edit: They ran the photo on Bartcop, maybe someone who is a better searcher than me can find it. Anyway, in my book, love entails being upset if the person you love is brutally murdered -- this dude is just a sociopath.

There would be a wonderful ironic twist if the story told about how they crippled Clinton where he couldn't get congressional or military support to go after OBL who eventually is responsible for Barbara's death..

13. Well, there HAD to be SOME love . . . Barbara was on Flight 77
because she delayed going out to L.A. for one day to appear on Politically Incorrect so she could be with her husband on Tuesday morning on his birthday. She would be alive if she had not canceled her originally scheduled Monday appearance.

Just because she delayed a flight, it doesn't say anything about his feelings. I don't believe that if you love somebody, you forget them and go out dancing in only 3 months, so I think of him as little more than scum.

Besides, maybe she delayed going out in hopes of catching him with some bimbo...

I would hope there are tons more romantic stories than theirs, but whatever.
