Why are you possibly officially insane?
I would probably be happy living out the rest of my life as a certified insane person, and therefore reap all the benefits (ha) of this joyful existence.

I may, just may, be insane because I can no longer carry on a coherent conversation with many, many other human beings. I am incapable of giving up trying, however, apparently.

Why are you insane?

1. "Insane" is a legal term.
Medical terms, including "dementia," are much broader. Cast that net wide and you come up with more crazies.

2. Just plain nuts, I guess

I have been commuting 90 miles one way to work for right at a year now. I don't know if I'm nuts to do it for what I'm getting paid, or whether the work+commute has made me nuts.

Damn *bush economy!

Anyway, I'd say I am because I keep seeing things out of the corner of my eye

5. Don't feel bad...I keep hearing people call my name...
I swear it! "Shannon" Then I turn around and there isn't anyone looking at me or near me that I know...

It's bizarre....

6. I'm nuts.
I have anxiety disorder, depression, and I worry about stupid shit all the time.

I, however, don't want to live my life this way anymore. :(

Your own words are proof that you're not nuts! You will find a way around this and into something else. It's only a matter of time.

7. Based on old folk-lore
I've taken enough LSD during my life to be legally insane.

12. What are the chances we would have grandpa's
with the same name?

Folk Lore.

He lived behind the shed in a bus in the backyard. Good ole gramps!

I didn't fall far from the tree.

9. Not insane
My head is pretty clear in fact. Not exactly happy and joyous, but clear about life.

10. I've been thinking about this
I've always said I wanted to die with all my faculties in my brain but after seeing almost 40 years of existance. I think I would rather go numb

13. I'm officially insane
And I've got the medication to prove it. Insanity without meds was a living hell for me. I wouldn't wish my illness on my most hated enemy, not even Bush. It's that bad.
