Just wondering how the wingdings will spin it so Bill Clinton is the actual one responsible for all the prisoner abuse in Iraq :silly:

1. The troops entered the service under Clinton's administration
and turned into depraved individuals due to Clinton's affair with Monica. if he has been a better role model, they never would of thought of doing such bad things.:spank:

4. That's basically what Rush said yesterday...
Something to the effect that "the liberals took credit for the swift victory in Iraq because it was 'Clinton's military', so they should now take the blame for the latest round of war crimes..."

5. Yep, and dog forbid that the behavior be linked to *
Agreed, that little stain on the blue dress will be evoked as the example from which these soldiers took their lead.

Far be it from anyone with access to the mass media to suggest that the abuse (torture, rape, murder, etc) might be more directly linked to *'s mantra of "you're either with US, or you're with the terrorists."

Under this mindset, it makes it much easier for troops to view *anyone* as an enemy, and linking any adverse situation to 9/11 elicits an extreme response from US fanatics.

I have made my views known as to what I think of what is going on over there, but I must comment on the incredible hypocricy of this thread.

You guys countenance the likes of dirt-bag Bill Clinton and then have the audacity to wonder "how can this happen?" Barf city.....

You countenance and uphold a guy like Kerry who clearly was not an honest man 30-35 years ago, and still isn't, and wonder why there is a lack of honesty.

You countenance the likes of Terry McCauliffe as the head of a national political party when he should be in jail.

And the list could go on and on and on...and you say "How could this happen.....?" Well, duhhhh.........conduct and policy and character have consequences.

And then you take this very serious situatiuon, and make a mockery of it and of justice by distortiion, idiotic comparison and some total nonsense.

Sorry, boys, you sound not like patriots but like blind ideologues. But perhaps that is appropriate, for I suspect that most are just that.

6. that is easy
By signing the ICC accord he forced Bush* and other Chickenhawks to oppose the ICC (International War Crimes Court).
Pulling out of the accord left some soldiers in a moral void.

11. This is easy. They will use their standard line
"Clinton lied about sex. Sex. SEX!!!! In doing so, he taught people all over the world that dishonesty and immorality are ok. Blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah penis blah blah Monica blah blah blah Hillary blah blah blah blah Whitewater blah blah blah blah blah blah."

They have actually used this many times. People have tried to say that its the reason that some students cheat on tests (because if the President lied, I can too).

What's next?

"My wife cheated on me. I mean, yeah, sure, I am a drunken, abusive asshole who treats her like shit and makes her wait on me hand and foot, but that's not why. Its probably because Clinton lied about sex."

15. The first rule of American politics:
The first rule of American politics:

Never underestimate the power of the Clinton penis.

It can destroy the moral fabric of the world, cause recessions, murderous terrorist attacks, massive deficits, cause successive presidents to lie their way to war, dance a mean tango, and drink even a Bush under the table. The Clinton penis is to be feared! :scared:
