Misty hurt herself yesterday...

She was out back chasing Heidi around and either stumbled or stepped into something. Now she's limping quite heavily.

The vet says to keep an eye on her for a day or so and see how she feels after that, but it breaks my heart watching her hobble around.

1. I used to have a dog

with a propensity to sprain her ankle. It's probably nothing. Try to keep her down and immobile as much as possible. Also there are special dog wraps you can buy to give her support if it is a sprained ankle. We used to give our dog half an aspirin to control swelling. She was a special work dog used by the police and military. She was a Belgian Shepherd. Yours looks like the Belgian Tavern (sp?) Am I correct?

I don't know. Misty was a 'found' dog. We don't know what she is for sure other than a Sheperd mix.
