What's everybody doing for Mothers' Day?

Will is coming up here on Saturday. We will probably go out to dinner Saturday night (I want steak!) and then we'll come back here and he will probably try to get me to watch one of his favorite violent DVD's like the Texas Chainsaw Murders. He will want a continuous fire in the fireplace and he'll burn every bit of wood I have. Sunday morning we'll go to a little diner in town that has a wonderful brunch. That's it...I'm happy! :-) How about you?

til later in the month. My little brother and nephew are going to be in Texas later in May and we're going to do Mother's Day when they're here. I'd imagine on that Saturday we'll weed out the flower beds for mom and then help the little one make her a Mother's Day card. Then we'll make her a Mother's Day cake (yellow cake with buttercream frosting - her favorite). Then on Sunday we'll go out to eat and have cake. Mmm...cake.

On the actual day of Mother's Day I'll call my mom and then go over to my best friend's house and help her celebrate Mother's Day. Maybe bake her her favorite ginger cookies. Then help the kid figure out what to cook her for a Mother's Day dinner. :)

Your plans with Will sound like fun. And make sure it's the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and not the awful remake. :)

Put that boy to work...make him chop more wood for ya. It's Mother's Day.
