Poll question: Who is most likely to leave a voicemail saying "Hello?.. Hello?.. Hello?"

Just got a call. A woman said "Hello?" five times. No specifics. Just "Hello?"

3. Usually it's debt collectors or creditors.
A lot of the time, their computers will dial several numbers at once. Sometimes people will pick up on more than one line at the same time and that's why you'll hear that #$#$%I#($I%#( recording "please hold for an important call" or some such shit.

Then, when they finally do come on the line, they won't know that it's an answering machine and they'll just keep saying "hello" over and over again until it finally dawns on them.

Telemarketers usually don't bother with leaving messages.

My answering machine has me saying 'Hi leave a message.' (I say it as friendly and brightly as I can..) Invariably, the message is 'hello may I speak to -----? hello? Hellllo?'

On edit 400 posts WooHoo!
