What would happen if Kerry challenged Bush to an IQ test?
Or a personality disorder battery (series of tests)?

Unfortantely BushCo would probably spin this as an elitist ploy and would never submit to it.

But, I relish the thought of what the results would show.

Imagine Kerry in a commercial saying, "Mr. Bush, many experts have conveyed serious concerns about your intelligence and psychological stability. There is a great need for intelligence and psychological stability for whomever presides over our great nation. I challenge you to a serious of tests to help American voters determine who might best lead this country. I anxiously await your acceptance or excuse."

4. quite true
we certainly do live in a culture that values its standardized testing. not that i think any more highly of the tracking systems employed in most of the rest of the world.

3. The reich-wingers would spin it by
saying that the test was created by a bunch of pointy-headed, godless liberal elites. That the test was nothing more than a feeble attempt by the left to discredit the greatest mind to ever occupy the WH.

BTW, I agree with poster #1. IQ tests are only one of many ways of measuring IQ and intellect. The book,"The Seven Kinds of Smart" comes to mind.

5. According to his Yale transcript,
Edited on Thu May-06-04 12:02 AM by Another Bill C.
Bush placed at the 71st percentile in his CEEB. This test at that time is considered a valid intelligence test by American Mensa which requires a score in the 98th percentile or better.

10. When you take into account the schooling he had available to him
that's not so impressive. It's not that impressive anyway, especially for someone who wants to be PRESIDENT.
