Oil prices...Arab way of hating Bush

Every time he does some thing they are displeased with the oil prices jump another .10 to .15 cents.

At this rate we will all be riding bicycles by 2005. I have heard the price is remaining stable when compared to the Euro and is mainly rising because of the devaluation of the dollar.

Now the dollar has not slipped recently and the oil prices are still climbing

Ok, America doesn't seem to understand anything but money, then we'll use that to show our displeasure. I can't say I like it (gas is $1.97 here, highest I've ever seen...), but I also think they understand what gets many people's attention, and that is their pocketbooks, unfortunately :(

They are restricting production now so they can earn extra profits, because come election time they'll open up all the spigots so that oil prices will plunge and help get their boy re-elected.

Prince Bandar admitted as such.

Read it in several posts here at DU, also on Bartcop and Buzzflash. Repukes mock Kerry for his foreign support, and yet the Saudis are playing games with Americans' pocketbooks to support THEIR guy.

8. Hard to say they like Bush

It seems they are equally worried about their own skins now.

Also during the lead up to attacking Iraq the Saudi government asked us to remove our military base there.

So by No Means do I think the Bush / Saudi relationship is alive and well so to speak. In light of resent events there in the region, I believe they will be quite reluctant to appear as the willing enablers of the Bush Holy War against Islam

this time, it's not a 'cyclical thing' with oil prices and the oil supply...
peak oil's a'comin, and things are going to get...interesting.

re: collecting on your cats lives- i've got this club my uncle gave me, and if it worked on baby seals, i'm sure that it would do the job just fine on your hairball hackers...
