Did anyone else see "Twilight Zone--The Movie"?
The quality of the first three stories in the anthology film ranges from mediocre to serviceable, but that last segment--the remake of "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet"--is a mini-masterpiece. Watch it, it's one of the most visceral 25 minutes in American film...and Lithgow is terrific as the frightened passenger. The scene where he ponders whether or not to open the window is excruciating.

1. The "prelude" with Dan Ackroyd and Albert Brooks was the best part

...for me. The song-guessing game was hilarious. ("Thanks for the Fred Gwynne." "Absolutely!" ) :D

(Of course Albert Brooks could read the phone book and I'd laugh.)

Because of the prologue, "Midnight Special" has taken on a whole new meaning for me. :scared:

2. Great movie
Lithgow rocked in his paranoia - what a tense part of the movie.

Loved the scenes with the psychic kid imprisoning his family in TV land too!

Then the part where the bigot got to live like the minorities that he was mouthing off about - priceless.
