1. I dig some of their older stuff a lot
first 3 discs, anyway..

finally saw them live 2 years ago, w/Queensryche and Fates Warning... they all kicked ass

on edit: I used to work in a music store where Portnoy came and did a clinic...it took me like 3 hours to set up drums for him to play on.

11. not a DT head, but
their song/video "Pull me Under" from the early 90s brings back fond memories of being 13. And I heard a nice cover they did of Tori Amos's song "Winter" so they're cool with me. :)
