7. Didn't Yakov say that about Cleveland?
"Everybody picks on a city. In America, everybody picks on Cleveland. In Soviet Union, we too pick on a city. Cleveland."

27. Wasn't an attack, more like an acknowledgement.
Or maybe an homage.

Actually, YS's real speaking voice (even in the 80s!) is a lot clearer and more English than Bush's!

28. Oh, I didn't think it was an attack.
Thus the smiley face at the end. I think I put a smiley face at the end.

Yakov is also a pretty intelligent and well spoken individual. Most comedians are. I only steal my material from the best.

5. I was in Chicago once in 1985, I really enjoyed my stay
Sorry I didn't get a chance to see it. I haven't had a chance to get out there since.

I try to look for any good experiences.

Believe it or not, wearing Steelers apparel is no longer an automatic death penalty in Cleveland.

6. I love Chicago!
The Art Institue (well, ALL the museums), all the wonderful theaters, the great restaurants, and as a cemetery fan, I love Graceland and Rosehill.:hi:

10. Awwwwww. Thank you :-)
Isn't it cool? We've also got two great cemeteries, the ones you mentioned. And everything else you mentioned. Honey, I could spend days in the Art Institute. :-)

Thanks for the compliment, sweetie.

:hi:

9. Big dinosaurs
Although I always get confused and try to see them at the wrong museum first -- but a second nice thing is that the wrong museum gives you 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot without paying once you've discovered your idiotic mistake. :-)

12. Spoon River Anthology
All of the riverboat gamblers are losing their shirts
All of the brave Union soldier boys sleep in the dirt
You know and I know there never was reason to hurt
When all of our lives were entwined to begin with
Here in Spoon River.

29. Yes,I like this one.
I bought my copy in the Dixon Mounds souvenir shop, overlooking the hundreds of dead American Indians. It was a very touching experience, and very close to the hill...

Here it is for all to enjoy: http://www.hn.psu.edu/faculty/jmanis/masters/sranthol.pdf

We just might have crossed paths.

I still go down there...and the smell (from Staley's) is ALWAYS the first thing you notice.

23. It's now "US Cellular Field". And the new one is an eyesore, IMO.
But not as much as an eyesore as the newly renovated Soldier's Field, price tag $600 million (grrrrrr)
