What's The Largest Amount Of Cash You've Lost?
Edited on Fri May-07-04 04:39 PM by arwalden
Once I lost $202. One $1 bill on top and there were 2 hundreds and another 1 underneath. I was drunk and I think I lost it outside a convenience store. I never went back to check because I figured it was gone forever.

:-)

1. 8 dollars (and my work ID card).
I was 15 or 16, and I had my wallet with me in the car while my family and I were taking a trip up to the North Shore.

We stopped in Hinckley to grab a bite, and when we got back to the car, I couldn't find my wallet. Never found it.

2. $14
Ripped off from my locker in a gym. I rarely carry more than $30 in cash, and this is why.

3. A dollar.
I'm very picky where I keep my money. I spend like there's no tomorrow, but when my money is around, I make sure I never lose it.

4. $384. Found it 3 months later in the fold of a magazine.

I had it in my wallet, but late that night, I had to run out of the house right away (my brother needed a ride after he and his girl broke up), so I put it there as a "theft-deterrent." Turns out it was a "me" deterrent as well, since I couldn't remember what the hell I did with it.

Would've recycled it too, if I wasn't interested in an article in that particular mag.

5. $150
In Las Vegas of all places - I lost my wallet in the cab as soon as I got there. No ATM card, no credit card, no photo ID. I cried all night but I learned a huge lesson!
