2. 100 years hence in high school Am. History classes

In one hundred years, high school American history teachers will teach about the first half of the 21st Century. They'll start it with the first court-appointed president's inauguration and will compare the ensuing administration to a cross between Romper Room, the Third Reich, and the Keystone Kops. They'll discuss 9/11/01 and share their grandparents' or great-grandparants' recollections of that day. Then they'll pick up with the Kerry administration, beginning with the 1/20/05 inauguration.

Years from now historians will look upon this time and nail it to the post for what it is: A compliant, complacent electorate (perhaps even a minority electorate, as it were) was hoodwinked by a criminal gang of political thugs like the world has seldom seen since Hitler, Mussolini, and Pol Pot. The good historians will not be confused. Too many precedents in history. As Ecclesiastes says, "There is nothing new under the sun."
