I also like "Murder by Violins", "Sails of Silver", "The Fox", "Tam Lin"...

I've got about 8 albums in my collection - and someone appropriated my copy of "Storm Force Ten".

"Time" was the last one I bought back in the early 90's and I think the last one they came out with - it's got a few very disturbing songs on it. Not quite as folksy as the others, very much like some of the more "new age" styles that verge on folk such as Enya or some of the later Clannad - at least in my opinion.

There's a few albums that haven't been re-issued that I'd be eager to get; I've got a cruddy 15 year old tape copy of of a friend's vinyl of Sails of Silver that I'd like to replace.

I have found that other than their "Master's" compilation, the collections albums are not as good as the originals.

Here's a site for those who might not know what SS is about -

Have you looked for the group "Silly Sisters" (Maddy Prior and June Tabor) - they tend to play more of the early folk songs. And of course, Fairpoint Convention. (on FC's "Liege and Leaf", I love "Crazy Man Michael" - I almost couldn't believe it wasn't an old folk song and they had written that back in '75... )
