What's the Craziest Thing You Really Believe?
You know, the thing you feel strongly about, but your friends all look at you a little funny over? For me, it's the super-secret ray-gun stuff... what's yours?

6. Daily beatings for GW
I believe that the controllers of GW have no qualms about smacking him around in order to try to train him to remember the lies the make him say and also out of pure frustration in dealing with such an idiot. Hence limited press appearences and a lot of taped audio and taped video to test the make-up and to see if his injuries show up.

24. I know
but I don't think I'll ever truly believe it's doing any good. If there's something bad on it, is running it under the faucet for a few seconds going to get it off?

I realize I'm probably wrong. When I was a very small kid, I was convinced that you only really had to look one way before crossing the street. I forget what my logic was, but I thought looking both ways was somehow redundant.

21. That prostitution should be legalized nationwide
and also that recreational drugs should be legalized, controlled, taxed. BTW I am not a prostitute and I have never taken an illegal drug (yet... give me time). No one has been able to make a case to me that there is something wrong with either of these activities, and it's my belief that their illegality causes far more problems, and costs far more money, than their being legal would cause.

Excuse me, now, I have to go feed the 5" tall spaceman that lives in my garden shed. If I don't feed him daily, he bothers the cats with his ray gun.

54. Beliefs considered "crazy"
1) I believe that magick, from folkways to ceremonial, is real and can affect change in the universe.
2) I believe that there is significance in acts of kindness no matter how small they seem. I believe these acts can be for people or animals.
3) I believe that the 2nd Amendment does include sub machine guns and other such select fire weapons, to law abiding citizens of course.
4) I believe that Kurt Cobain, the lead singer/song writer of Nirvana, was probably murdered.
5) I believe, especially after recently re-reading George Orwell's "Road to Wigan Pier" and "Homage to Catalonia" that the US is heading for some bad times. Buy a rifle, ammo, and keep basic supplies on hand.

58. ok, about 9-11
I believe that the order for 9-11 was put into motion as soon as the election was decided and that it was ordered in retaliation for the first Gulf war (in general) and the US presence in the ME (Specifically). I believe that if Gore had properly won the election, 9-11 would have never happened and even though * LIHOP, his "election" was the "go" trigger to the terrorists.

I also am waiting for someone on the national stage to point out that maybe for the health of the country we should not be electing people that raise such ire in a very crazy few that they go flying airplanes into buildings, in fact, imho, no one even remotely connected (even through just family) to the oil industry should be anywhere near public office.

I also believe that the * administration/9-11 investigation knows this, but would never release the info.

67. I truly believe I'm psychic.
I can tell you who's calling without looking at the caller ID...I have dreams that happen within the next week. I can't tell you who you'll marry, but I can tell you certain things about your life. It's weird.
I also believe in Ghosts and stuff. My dad haunts my mom's house. It's where he died. He turns lights on and off, and he moves stuff around. And there's a Ghost house in Kingfisher Oklahoma that has been torn down, but if you go drive by it at night, you'll see lights where the windows used to be. It's freaky. :scared:
I believe one day we'll all stop fighting over dirt and start loving each other like we are supposed to. :loveya:
I believe people are mostly good, and the bad only makes the good that much more good. And that's all that keeps me going and sleeping at night.
I believe we ought to kill all child molestors because they are incurable, and have no value here on earth. :grr:
I also believe the democrats are superior because we care about others, animals, the enviroment, and we try to take care of all of them. Maybe this sounds naive, but I truly believe that we'll win in the end. :hippie:

71. I can't believe I'm going to admit to this...
I should know better. But on some level I am absolutely, 100% certain that the nature of people is good, and that the evil they do is an aberration; and that there is no one who can't change. I believe this despite a complete lack of scientific proof, and in the face of all evidence to the contrary.

77. But.... That's true!
Any evil comes directly from our environment. In a culture that rewards greed and competition, there are going to be a lot of greedy and competitive people. I seriously believe that a society that rewards love and equality will be full of loving, fair people.

79. Except that it's never happened
Unfortunately, in all of human history such a society has never existed. Logically, I know it can't exist because humanity is so aggressive and power-hungry.

But emotionally, I can't shake the feeling that individual humans, one-on-one, without exception, all have the capacity to become wonderful, kind, caring people.

The contradiction between head and heart is staggering.

75. I believe that a new lipstick can actually change my life
I'm always out looking for that perfect cosmetic that will turn me into Catherine Zeta-Jones or Milla Jovovich. You've probably already guessed that I haven't found it yet.

(However, I did find a few that turned me into Ernest Borgnine! All I can say is, never buy generic skin care products)

I am writing a story about that now. When it's done I'll find a way to get it to all my DU pals.

78. That George W. Bush is a Dark Lord of the Sith.
I think he was trained by Darth Sideous himself. (Unless you're a big "Star Wars" like I am, you probably don't get the joke.)
