Wow. I just cleaned up my "ignore" list.
I over-used it during the primary wars, and was happier for it. I thought I'd go in and clean it up, and "unignore" most of those people. I clicked on each to see if they were still around, and 15 of them were tombstoned while I had them on ignore. I only have 2 people left on the list.

I guess it was a little hotter in GD 2004 than I thought. Don't tell me what I missed!

2. There were definitely disruptors working the boards
during the primaries. Typical tactic of the GOP operatives. They have been pulling their divide the left crap for decades.

13. Was there any particular criteria or guidelines you had
for putting them on "ignore" in the first place? Or were they all just simply irritating jerks in general?

I'm curious because I haven't been on DU that long and I'm still not quite sure if there are any specific telltale signs that someone might be a disruptor.

(God... hope I'm not opening up a can of worms with this question....)

15. That's a personal choice.
I have a general guideline; I don't "ignore" because I disagree with someone, or because they state a disagreement with me. I use it when I saw a pattern of disruption; someone who obviously enjoys pushing other people's buttons, regardless of the topic at hand. Apparently, that must be a common disruptor tactic, based on that count of 15!

You just click on the little sleeping guy icon at the top of their post, and their posts will go away, leaving a blank spot by "ignored's" post.
